Prayer Is The Key: The Battle of The Mind

Dear Prophetic Diaries Family,

A continual prayer of repentance will be part of this prayer sequel. As you are more aware of the effects of sin and how it can lead to the construction of evil altars. The process of growing your unique relationship with God and receiving deliverance is about to begin. From this point forward, each prayer you read will lead you closer to God. To the best of your ability, sincerely offer these prayers to the Lord.

It is imperative that you all write letters to the Lord, your God, because doing so fosters a close relationship between you and the Lord. You can express your emotions to God and elaborate on how you want to develop a closer relationship with him. Do not confine Abba; you are free to communicate with your Father in any way that feels right to you. I also encourage you all to write down dreams that the Lord has given you.

On your spiritual journey with God, you must all keep reading the Bible to refuel your spirit.

1 Samuel 13:14

14 But now your kingdom will not endure; the Lord has sought out a man after his own heart and appointed him ruler of his people, because you have not kept the Lord’s command.”

The Purpose of This Prayer:

As God's children, we must understand that Satan plays on the fact that our minds are constantly engaged in combat. Satan frequently sows doubt or misguided thoughts into our minds. This is why we must submit every thought we have to the authority of Christ. For instance, an unanticipated negative thought like "you can never do that" can demotivate you. It's important to submit these thoughts to God's written word, as opposed to just thinking about them. As it is stated in God's word, we are strengthened by Christ and can do anything through him.

Philippians 4:13

13 I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.

5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.

This prayer will help you all start to understand the idea of mind-renewal and how to deal with spiritual conflict. To avoid adopting the patterns of this world, we must modify our actions and ways of thinking.

Numerous false beliefs and things that are not from God have been imposed upon us when we were in the world feeding our flesh and not our spirit. Therefore, we must all start to understand the idea of leaving this world and entering a new one through the blood of Jesus Christ (the blood of the new covenant), the transfiguration of our spirit, and the renewal of our minds. As you begin to pray and go through this journey, you’ll start to feel a shift in your spirit. Allow the Lord to take you where you need to be.

Romans 12:2

2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

I thank you so much for this day, for your grace, love, and mercy. I thank you for everything you have done in my life and what you will continue to do. Father, I praise your name as you are worthy to be praised, you are the Alpha and Omega. There is nothing that you can not do, and I give you all my praise and honour.

Lord, I pray that you purify my heart, spirit, and soul. Lord, please remove any filthy garment I was wearing in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I concentrate myself in the blood of Jesus Christ.

Lord, I come before you with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Father, I ask for you to destroy every evil seed of depression, anxiety, fear, and doubt that was planted in my mind by the enemy. Father, I submit every negative thought that was circulating in my head to the authority of Christ.

• List any negative thoughts you may have. If you struggle with sexual perversion please lists the thoughts as well i.e. masturbation, sexual immorality, lust etc.

• If you struggle with jealousy, envy, greed or bitterness etc. Please list these thoughts as well.

Lord, I decree and declare that the blood of Jesus Christ speaks better things over my life.

Lord, I decree and declare that, with joy, I will draw water from the wells of salvation in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I decree and declare that my mind can no longer be the same as it says in your word, behold, I do a new thing (Isaiah 43:19).

Lord, I renounce and denounce every spirit that was running rampant in my mind, trying to tie me down to the elemental forces of this world. Lord, every altar that had been created due to my personal sin, ancestral sins, and the sins of bloodlines. May the blood of Jesus Christ begin to destroy and remove every cloud of confusion that was placed over my mind to cause me to not progress spiritually. Lord, may the blood of Jesus Christ dismantle every demonic thinking pattern in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, in your word it says, that you have given me not a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Therefore, Lord God, I ask to hear nothing but your thoughts and the function of your spirit. Lord, in your word it says ask and you shall receive (Matthew 7:7). Lord, I ask that you take control of mind and organise my spirit. Lord, please install into my mind wisdom, discernment, love, grace, and kindness in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, I renounce and denounce:

• every spirit of anger, bitterness,lust, fornication, witchcraft, rebellion, lying, stealing, masturbation, backwardness, poverty, rejection, disobedience, spiritual pride and physical pride in the mighty name of Jesus.

• Try and identify any spirits you think you personally might be battling with.

In the powerful name of Jesus, I annihilate every method of mind control and witchcraft manipulation that these spirits used to manipulate me. Let the demon-inspired thought patterns that came from the depths of hell be wiped away by the blood of Jesus Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus, I renounce, denounce, and refuse every marine spirit that was controlling my thoughts. Any octopus or squid spirits that were giving me headaches, bloating, confusion, or dizziness are renounced and rejected by the precious blood of Jesus Christ.

Lord, let the blood of Jesus Christ begin to filter my thoughts in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, in your word, it says the kingdom of God has come with power. Lord, start to show your power in every aspect of my life. In the mighty name of Jesus, I triumph over every type of mind control that was leading me to view the world through a carnal lens. Lord, every door or point of contact that was giving these spirits the legal right to reign havoc in my mind, may the precious blood of Jesus Christ begin to close every door in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord God, may you destroy any covenant that was made with any of these spirits in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, whether through eating in my dreams or coming into agreement with these demonic thoughts. I pray that the blood of Jesus Chirst begins to uproot and destroy every covenant in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, like the way you have a covenant with Noah and Father Abraham. Lord, I come into agreement with what you have in store for me as you are my great reward. Father, as you said you will make Abraham's name great, Lord I pray that my name is soaked in the blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, anytime any evil spirit addresses me by my name in my mind, spirit, or soul. May the blood of Jesus Christ be a consuming fire in the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord, I consecrate my mind, spirit, and soul in the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Lord, I renounce and denounce every stronghold in my mind that was trying to stop me from breaking free in the mighty name of Jesus. May every limitation that was placed in my mind be destroyed. Lord, in your word, it says you came to set the captives free (Luke 4:18). Father, I pray that in the mighty name of Jesus, you cast out every doubt that was introduced into my mind to prevent me from realising the destiny you have given me. I pray, Heavenly Father, that you begin to program my mind according to your will and purpose for me.

Heavenly Father, I pray that you begin to renew my mind and change my perspective in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I want to be the seed on the grain in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, in your word, it says that you are a warrior. Lord, I pray you arise and destroy every grip that was on my mind due to the influence of demonic spirits, in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray that my mind, spirit, and soul are purified by the blood of Jesus Christ. In the mighty name of Jesus, I command that every demonic power or principality that was controlling my thoughts be destroyed with the Holy Ghost fire. This command is made possible by the blood of Jesus Christ. May my mind, spirit, soul, and body be a dwelling place for the Lord.

Lord, I give my mind, spirit, and soul to you. Lord, I pray that you destroy my vineyard and plant thoughts of your thoughts in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord God, in your word, it says we are one in the spirit. Lord God, I ask for you to transfigure my spirit. Lord, may your light radiate from within for your glory. Lord, may my life be a testimony. Lord, may I testify and rejoice in the mighty name of Jesus. Lord, I pray that you pour more of your spirit into me. Lord, remove anything inside of my spirit that was making me unclean. Lord God, may you cause my spirit to vomit in the mighty name of Jesus. I pray that you begin to clothe me spiritually in the mighty name of Jesus.

The Lord searches our heart and it is important for us to go through a process of healing. Our heart must be a reflection of the Lords, in order for us to get there we must go through the process of refinement. Please be transparent with the Lord and examine areas of your heart.

Jeremiah 17:10

10 I the Lord search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

Sometimes we all have the tendency to bury painful things that harvest bad fruits of our spirit in our hearts. Unfortunately, we don’t always realise that the things we have superessed inside are hindering our walk with God. The Lord does not want you to hide those painful things that are hidden in your heart, instead he wants to work with you and help you heal.

Psalm 45:13

13 All glorious is the princess within her chamber;

her gown is interwoven with gold.

The trauma you might have endured two years ago- have you allowed the Lord to heal you?

Lord, please help me understand the depths of your heart. I want to dwell inside your heart Lord God. Lord, please remove anything inside of me that was stopping me from having full access to you Lord.

Heavenly Father, please transfigure my spirit. Lord, I want your light to radiate inside of me. Search the depths of my heart Lord, bring forth anything that needs to be changed in me. In your word, it says behold I do a new thing (Isaiah 43:19 - 21). Lord please do a new thing inside of me and in my life. Lord, I want to have fruits of your spirit as you are the God of restoration.

Lord please destroy every evil seed that was planted in my life due to the consequences of sin. Heavenly Father, destroy my vineyard and make it like the garden of Eden. Lord, like the way you had a personal relationship with Abraham. Lord, I build an altar of prayer in my heart and life for you. I invite you in everything I do. Lord, I want you to be my Father and my best friend. I want to be wherever you are Lord.

Lord, I want to stay in alignment with you. I want to walk with you and fulfil your will. In your word, it says you are the great reward (Genesis 15:1). Lord, I want to dwell with you in the promised land. Lord, I love you not for the things you do for me but because of who you are. Lord show me more of you, reveal to me more of your character, help me understand you Lord.

Lord in your word it says you can do the impossible and everything is possible for one who believes (Mark 9:23). I believe Lord that you can bring me where you want me to be. I give my life to you as a living sacrifice, Lord equip my spirit with what is required to run the great race of faith. Lord, I don't want to be under the elemental forces of this world. I want to be under your law, I want to have the yoke of Christ as that yoke is light.

• Go into depth, pour your heart onto God and tell him how much you want to commune with him.

In your word it says, seek the kingdom of God first and all will be added onto ye (Matthew 6:33). Lord, I’m seeking you with all my heart, I don’t care about the things of this world. All I need is you Lord. Heavenly Father, please can I be close to you. In your word it says David was a man after your own heart. Lord, I want to be inside the chambers of your heart. Help me Lord to be who you’ve called me to be. Lord use me for your glory but please refine my spirit and my soul. Lord let your heart be my secret hiding place. Lord all I want is you. Take away anything that was stopping me from being with you.

Lord, even as I go on this journey with you, I pray that you remove any idols that I had and become the head above everything. Lord, I know you have plans to prosper me and not to harm me. Lord, I know you are a good shepherd and I know that you know your sheep. I come before you, Lord, and I ask that you put your hand on my heart. Lord, let your right hand hold my heart steady against any forces of darkness. Your word declares that your right hand has power. Lord may you manipulate the functions of my heart with the fruits of your spirit.

Galatians 5: 22 - 24

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

Lord, I pray that you pour your agape love into me. Lord remove any bitterness, anger, envy or jealousy I may feel. Lord let my heart be purified with the blood of Jesus Christ, help me face any trauma that I had hidden in my heart. Lord let your light expose the dark areas of my heart in the mighty name of Jesus.

Prayer Is The Key: Understanding Evil Altars and Demonic Attacks

Dear Prophetic Diaries Family,

It's essential for you all to understand what it means to have an altar in your life. Altars can be good or bad. This read will you more insight of evil altars and demonic attacks this will build your knowledge before you pray.

It's crucial to always ask the Lord for forgiveness when we pray as we are sinners but are redeemed through the blood of the new covenant, the blood of Jesus Christ.

Matthew 4:17

17 From that time on Jesus began to preach, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” NIV

One thing that we all must remember is that our sin has consequences. The sins of our ancestors and forefathers have consequences too. It is important to ask God for forgiveness and to remove any altar that has been established into your life because of our sins. When altars are established it gives the kingdom of darkness the legal right to deploy evil spirits into our lives.

For instance, the sin of masturbation allows the enemy access to send spirit spouses to oppress you in your sleep. Those spirits then invite other spirits that can cause destruction in your life. In addition, the practice of witchcraft and ancestral worship can also establish a demonic altar in your life. Therefore, it’s important to ask the Lord for forgiveness and engage in spiritual warfare. The more you begin to pray and tear down evil foundations the more the spiritual warfare intensifies. Our foundation must be built on Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 3:11

11 For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. NIV

Do not be scared. The Lord did not give us the spirit of fear but the spirit of peace and a sound mind.

The bible says our battle is not between flesh and blood but evil principalities and rulers.

Ephesians 6:12

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. NIV

Praying and asking the Lord for forgiveness and will tear down altars that had been established due to the consequence of your sin. When altars are raised they remain in many generations unless they are torn down.

Genesis 12:7

7 The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him. NIV

It’s crucial for you all to understand the foundation of repentance because as you continue to progress in this sequel you will continue to pray against evil altars and go deeper into the realms of the spirit.

What is an altar?

An altar is a place of transactions. An altar is used to offer sacrifices.

How to recognise an evil altar in your life

• What are your family patterns?

• Is there a constant pattern of premature death in your family?

• Have you or your family members suffered from near success syndrome?

• Is there a recurrent pattern of sickness in your lineage?

You can identify an evil altar when you can see a constant pattern of negativity within your lineage.

How do altars work?

Altars require a sacrifice and an altar worker. The sacrifice an altar can have is your blood. Your bloodline can be connected to an altar due to the iniquities from your ancestors, forefathers, mother and fathers house. As altars are a place of transactions, it is a portal that invites access between man and spirits. When we look at Abraham and God an altar had been built that allowed the Lord to come down and liaise with Abraham. As the altar of God had been built and established in Abraham's life we then continue to see how Jacob discovered that same altar. This highlights how altars can run through your bloodline. Altars can either invite the presence of God or evil spirits. Altars can also be established for the use of witchcraft, evil spells and occult rituals.

Genesis 12: 6 - 7

6 Abram traveled through the land as far as the site of the great tree of Moreh at Shechem. At that time the Canaanites were in the land. 7 The Lord appeared to Abram and said, “To your offspring I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord, who had appeared to him. NIV

Genesis 35:7

7 Jacob built an altar there and called it “God of Bethel,” because that was the place where God had appeared to him when he was running from Esau. NIV

Altar's can also be established due to your own personal sin and territorial sin. When we look at Prophet Elijah and how he defeated prophets of baal there was a process he went through. The Prophets of baal were working at the altar giving sacrifices (altar worker). We are altar workers for the Lord as we constantly give ourselves as a living sacrifice.

We must defeat evil altars that have been established in our life in order for us to run the great race of faith. Spiritual warfare is a constant thing, it’s key to have the fundamentals to rage war against evil principalities and rulers.

1 Kings 18: 30 - 33

30 Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come here to me.” They came to him, and he repaired the altar of the Lord, which had been torn down. 31 Elijah took twelve stones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Your name shall be Israel.” 32 With the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord, and he dug a trench around it large enough to hold two seahs of seed. 33 He arranged the wood, cut the bull into pieces and laid it on the wood. Then he said to them, “Fill four large jars with water and pour it on the offering and on the wood.” NIV

The Process

We need to first repair the altar of the Lord in our lives. We need to give our lives to the Lord as a living sacrifice and use the blood of Jesus Christ as the blood that speaks over our life.

Hebrews 12:24

24 to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel. NIV

Many altars that have been established over your life can be speaking evil things against you. For example, an altar could be speaking against someone's life saying this,“Rebecca will never be successful no matter what she does”.

An altar could be speaking this kind of wickedness over your life and then sending evil spirits to ensure that those words come to pass. This could be done by sending the spirit of stagnation and delay.

Through the blood of Jesus Christ we can establish an altar of God that speaks better things over our life, the blood of Jesus Christ speaks life and not death. We can attach our destiny to the throne of grace instead of the grave.

Hebrews 4:16

16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. NIV

Remember the thief came to steal, kill and destroy. God sent his son for us to have life more abundantly, it’s important to be attentive to the patterns we see in our life and be spiritually productive.

John 10:10

10 The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. NIV

Before it manifests in the physical realm it must be done in the spiritual realm first.

Matthew 6: 9 - 13

9 “This, then, is how you should pray:

“‘Our Father in heaven,

hallowed be your name,

your kingdom come,

your will be done,

on earth as it is in heaven.

Give us today our daily bread.

And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

And lead us not into temptation,

but deliver us from the evil one.

Spiritual Warfare, Demonic Attacks

As we know that our fight is not between flesh and blood, we understand that evil spirits will try and torment us.

Have you ever experienced the following?

• Your bed shakes during the night, especially when you’re praying.

• You try to run in your dream but it feels like you’re running in slow motion.

• You try to speak in your dream but your voice is really silent as if you’re struggling to speak.

• You feel an evil presence that makes your hair stand up on your body like goosebumps.

• You can hear unusual sounds when you’re praying (monitoring spirits).

• You dream as if you're falling and you jump in your sleep.

• You feel like someone is pulling your leg and you jump in your sleep.

• You wake up with unusual scratches that weren’t on your body the night before.

• You try to wake up but you can’t move your body (sleep paralysis).

• You keep on losing things, struggling to find where you put it.

• You can’t remember your dreams.

• Your having sexual intercouse/ disturbing dreams when you sleep (wet dreams)

These are some examples of demonic attacks.

As you start to pray and revive your spirit, it triggers these spirits to start attacking you and tormenting you in your sleep or during the day. The warfare starts because the kingdom of darkness knows that their time of keeping you in bondage is up!

Don’t be discouraged when you experience these attacks continue to pray without ceasing. This sequel will equip you with what you need to rage war against the enemy.

In this sequel there will be spiritual warfare prayers combined with prayers that ensure you have a personal relationship with the Lord.
