Episode 2 Intimacy with The King: Walk In The Spirit

Updated: Jul 29

Hello, Prophetic Diaries Family (PDF)!

The Word from the book of Genesis will serve as this series' primary framework and point of emphasis. I hope you all have a pen, a Bible, and paper with you.

Get ready for a profound experience as you learn the primary keys to the Kingdom of God in this chapter.

Okay, PDF, say a prayer inviting the presence of the Lord and the Holy Spirit.

P.S. At the end of every episode, make sure you write a letter to the Lord your God.

Prayer to Invite the Presence of the Holy Spirit

Heavenly Father, I thank You so much for Your grace, Your love, and Your mercy. I praise Your name, Lord, for You are the King of kings and Lord of lords.

Lord, please have mercy upon me for all my sins. (Ask God for forgiveness. Go into depth, and ask the Lord to have mercy regarding the sins of your forefathers and ancestors, your mother's house, and your father's house.)

Lord, please have mercy upon me for all my sins. (Be honest with the Lord about your own personal sin.)

2 Corinthians 12:9

"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." (NIV)

Father, even as I read the content in Navigating Through Christ: Prophetic Diaries, may You open my ears, my spirit, and my soul to receive this overflow of knowledge. Your Word says that Your people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.

Hosea 4:6

"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge." (NIV)

Heavenly Father, I invite the presence of the Holy Spirit to give me wisdom, knowledge, and understanding. Holy Spirit, have Your way. Nudge me in my spirit to take heed to Your Word.

Lord, I pray that Your will be done over my life. Lord, I love You, and I want to know You more. Show me who You are and how I can draw closer to You.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

This insight, by the grace of God, will give you the tools to revive your spirit. Your spirit needs to have life, as you cannot serve the Lord in your flesh.

Matthew 26:41

"Stay alert and pray so that you won't give in to temptation. The spirit is eager, but the flesh is weak." (CEB)

Genesis 2 – Adam and Eve

Genesis 2:7

"Then the Lord God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." (NIV)

Holy Spirit Insight

The Lord breathed the breath of life into Adam.

How can you ensure you receive the Lord's fresh wind of life in your own life?

You can pray and ask the Lord to breathe new life into your relationship with Him so that it may become alive and flourishing. You can also ask the Lord to help you renew your mind.

Romans 12:2

"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—His good, pleasing and perfect will." (NIV)

Prayer

Heavenly Father, please bless me with a fresh wind in my life. Let Your breath be the breath that I breathe in every area of my life. As Your Word says, man cannot live on bread alone. Lord, the oxygen from this world cannot sustain me; give me Your supernatural breath. Let there be a fresh wind in every area of my life.

I pray, Lord, that You will renew my mind and remove every dead foundation that has been established in my mind. I pray, Lord, that You will breathe upon every area of my mind. Every area of mental captivity that I have experienced, I pray, Lord, that You will deliver me in the name of Jesus.

Matthew 4:4

"Jesus answered, 'It is written: Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'" (NIV)

Questions to Ask Yourself and Write in Your Diary

What are you feeding your spirit with?

What things in your spirit need life?

Write down the things in your spirit that do not belong to God. For example, anger and bitterness are not the fruit of the Spirit.

Write down the fruit of the Spirit and how you can grow in those qualities with God's help.

Ask the Lord to guide you through this journey.

Reflection Time and Prayer Interval

Ask the Lord to equip your spirit with new life so you can run the great race of faith and walk alongside Jesus.

Ask yourself, "What would Jesus do?"

You are a disciple of Christ. Does your life show this?

Ask the Lord to fill every void you may be experiencing with His life-giving breath.

John 14:6

"Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" (NIV)

Hebrews 12:1–3

"Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him He endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." (NIV)

Galatians 5:16-18
Galatians 5:16-18

16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 17 For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.
